If you’re replacing GloriaFood, the market is suddenly full of options. OlaClick, Menuro, Restolabs, Ressto, Fleksa, and plenty more. Most of them say the same two things: commission-free and own your data. That’s table stakes now, not a differentiator. So how do you actually choose?
The four questions that matter
1. Do they take a commission on orders? The whole point of leaving is to stop paying a cut. A genuinely commission-free platform runs orders through your payment account and the money settles straight to you. Watch for “free” plans that quietly come back as per-order fees once you’re busy.
2. Can you export your data whenever you want, not just when you leave? GloriaFood taught everyone this one. If you can’t get your data out, you don’t really own it. Insist on a real export of menu, customers and orders that you can trigger yourself.
3. Who does the migration, you or them? A wizard that makes you retype your menu isn’t migration. The meaningful difference between these alternatives is whether somebody brings your menu across for you and then checks it’s right.
4. Are you locked into a contract? Month to month, with your data portable, means you can leave if it doesn’t work out. A long contract is a red flag right after you’ve been burned by a shutdown.
