Coming soon · Live Floor

Your whole restaurant, live on one screen.

Lay out your dining room once, in 3D. Then run service from the floor: the plate waiting on the pass, the runner who’s free to take it, the delivery about to be late, each with the fix one tap away.

Coming soon to Ontabee · Early-access restaurants get it first · Works with the orders, tables and kitchen screens you already run on Ontabee

Two screens

Design the room once. Run service on it every night.

Floor Designer

Drag tables, kitchen stations, the bar, the pass, the pickup shelf and the driver point into a 3D room, the way you’d arrange furniture in a game. Each table is your real QR table and each station is your real kitchen screen, so nothing gets set up twice. Then set the rules: how long a table can stay, how long a reset takes, when a plate counts as late.

Live Floor

During service the same room comes alive. Tables show how long they’ve been seated against their limit, stations show their queues, and a side panel lists everything that needs someone: late plates, delayed deliveries and pickups, the waitlist and your runners. Put it on a tablet at the pass, or a TV on the wall.

See the problem, fix it in one move

“Ready” isn’t “served.”

The usual bottleneck isn’t the kitchen. It’s a finished plate waiting on the pass while the runner for that section is on a break. Live Floor turns that table red after the limit you set and names the runner who’s free. Drag them onto the table and the plate goes out.

Late plates, idle runners

Every plate on the pass has a timer. When one goes late, the floor shows whose section it is, who’s free, and a one-tap way to send them.

Delivery and pickup, delayed

Orders about to miss their promise, drivers still minutes away, customers already waiting at the shelf. One list, with “text the customer” and “move to the front” right there.

Waitlist and seating

Quoted waits by party size, parties who are past their quote, and the free table that fits the next one. Walk-aways are counted, with the revenue they cost.

Kitchen stations and 86

Each station’s queue and its stuck tickets, right on the floor. Mark a dish as sold out and it disappears from your storefront, apps and QR menu.

Table timers and requests

Each table’s time against the limit you set. Guests ask for the bill or a waiter from their table’s QR page, and that table lights up.

A recap after every shift

A rush score at the end of the night, when things went wrong, late plates by station, and the one or two things to change next time.

Built on what you already run

No new system to learn.

Live Floor reads what Ontabee already knows about your night: your online and QR orders, your kitchen display stations, your bookings and waitlist, your drivers, and your own SMS or WhatsApp provider for guest messages.

  • Runs on the tablets, laptops and TVs you already have.
  • Keeps working through an internet drop, then syncs.
  • A big-screen mode for the pass, with a chime when something’s urgent.
  • Views for the manager, the expeditor and the host, so each sees what they need.

Planned for Live Floor

These are in the plan and in the interactive demo. Early-access restaurants help us decide what ships first.

  • Test a layout first. Run a simulated Saturday on a new layout before you move any furniture.
  • Accessibility and safety check. Aisles under 90 cm, blocked exits, tables a wheelchair can’t reach.
  • Templates, or trace your plan. Start from a café or quick-service layout, or from a photo of your floor plan.
  • Staffing and labour. Runners and cooks needed for the next two hours, and labour as a share of tonight’s sales.
  • Guests, remembered. Allergies and birthdays on the table, one-tap ratings, and pay-at-the-table from the QR page.
  • Every branch at once. All your locations on one screen, and a floor assistant you can ask “what should I do now?”

Try the interactive demo

Early access

Be one of the first restaurants on Live Floor.

Leave your details and we’ll be in touch as it opens up. Early-access restaurants get it first and help shape what it does. It doesn’t commit you to anything.

When is it coming?

We’re building it now. Early-access restaurants get it first, and we’ll email you before it opens up. We won’t promise a date we can’t keep.

Will it cost extra?

We’ll publish pricing before launch. Early-access restaurants hear it first, and nobody is charged for anything by joining the list.

Do I need new hardware?

No. It runs in the browser on the tablets, laptops and TVs you already have, alongside your Ontabee orders and kitchen screens.

Is the demo real?

The interactive demo runs on sample data: the restaurant, the orders and the staff are made up. It shows how Live Floor will work, so you can try it before it exists for your restaurant.
